How we help
Feeling stuck rarely has one cause. Through virtual counselling across Canada, we look at the whole picture: body, habits, thoughts, relationships. Then we go after the things that are keeping you there.
Racing thoughts, repetitive loops, OCD-type patterns, and the constant background hum of worry. We focus on interrupting the cycle, not just understanding it.
Depression, low self-worth, and the shame that keeps you avoiding the things that would help. We rebuild confidence through action.
Blowing up, shutting down, or never quite saying what you mean. Learn to regulate first, then communicate: at home, at work, everywhere it counts.
Employment struggles, feeling stalled, or not knowing what the next move is. We set concrete goals and build the discipline to follow through on them.
Drinking, substances, screens, or routines that quietly run your life. No lectures, just an honest look at what the habit does for you and what could replace it.
Sleep, nutrition, movement, and weight affect your mind more than most people expect. We take the body seriously: our counselling draws on real personal-training experience, so you can work on both together.
Hello, my name is Adriano Serviziati, but my friends call me Bruce, and so can you. My work is directed toward one central purpose: helping you build a stronger, more capable version of yourself. I'm a second-generation Italian-Canadian from an immigrant family, raised in a blue-collar community where limited resources, crime, and housing insecurity were familiar realities. So I don't approach counselling as something vague, gimmicky, or removed from real life. I know people usually start therapy from difficult, imperfect, discouraging circumstances, and my job is to meet you where you are and help you move forward from that point.
My approach is bottom-up, brief, collaborative, and structured: start with the physiology (sleep, movement, habits), then tackle the thought and behaviour patterns keeping you stuck, using evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. I don't view therapy as a lifelong endeavour. Maslow described self-actualization as becoming what you are capable of becoming. That's the spirit of my work, and once you begin to operate from that place, the world is yours.
How it works
Three steps. No waitlists, no referrals, no guesswork about what happens next.
Book a free callA no-pressure 15 minutes. You tell us what's going on, and we tell you honestly whether we're the right fit to help with it.
We work bottom-up: first the physiological factors feeding your distress (sleep, movement, habits), then the thought patterns keeping you stuck.
Every session ends with something concrete to observe, practise, change, or act on. Small deliberate adjustments that stack into measurable movement.

FAQ
Quite possibly, through your extended-health insurance. Most workplace and student benefit plans cover psychotherapy, often reimbursing 80 to 100% of the session fee up to an annual maximum. You pay for the session, we provide a receipt, and you submit it to your insurer. Depending on your plan, that can bring your out-of-pocket cost close to $0. Check that your plan covers a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) or a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) before booking; if you're not sure how, ask in your free 15-minute intro call and we'll help you figure it out. The intro call itself is always free.
We map out what's actually going on, starting with the basics: sleep, energy, movement, routines. Then we look at the thought and behaviour patterns keeping you stuck, and set a clear direction. You'll leave with something concrete to do before we meet again.
We get it. A lot of it can seem that way. That's exactly why our work is grounded in practical, evidence-based psychology: cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and physiology-first work. We identify the problem, work the problem, and measure whether it's moving.
Yes. What you share stays between you and your counsellor, with the few legal exceptions every Canadian therapist must follow: risk of serious harm to yourself or others, a child in need of protection, or a court order. Your counsellor will walk you through exactly what that means before you begin, so there are no surprises.
Everyone's situation is different, but often fewer than people expect. We're strong proponents of brief, solution-focused work, and many people see real movement within a handful of sessions because every session produces something to act on. We review progress as we go, and when you don't need us anymore, that's the win.
